![]() A Note from the Editor May is here and we have officially published a full years worth of Arkansas’ Thunder Roads Magazine. It hasn’t been easy. We are always struggling to find the best material and most informative articles for you reading pleasure. We also work very hard to bring you eye pleasing bikes and babes. We have a full schedule of events ahead of us. Our bike night took a hit when we had our approved location, jerked out from under us with only 6 days before the opening night. Thankfully, the businesses of North Little Rock were happy to accept our money on a Tuesday night each month. So just to be clear, the monthly Thunder Roads Bike Night has moved to NLR’s Argenta District. Our host, Mac Daddy’s Bar & Grill, has helped in establishing Arkansas’ largest bike night event. See you there on the first Tuesday of each month. We continue to grow. You can find Arkansas’ Thunder Roads Magazine at over 100 locations across our state and in five locations outside our statelines. We would like to welcome Mississippi Elbert Baldwin to our subscription ranks. Even our friends on the other side of the ‘Big Muddy’ like our magazine. I recently had the chance to meet Bud Lidzy, candidate for Arkansas State House of Representatives. He is in the Bryant area. While visiting with Bud and assuring him that TRM-AR would like to help support his run for the House, Bud mentioned another motorcycle publication that declined. Apparently they weren’t interested in supporting riders’ rights. Commenting that all riders should have to wear helmets and have quiet bikes. I just want everyone to know that your personal rights are being taken away from you each day, and only you can put a stop to it by voting for people like Bud Lidzy. Also this past weekend Dana won the Ms Wild Hog Bikini Contest. She bested 11 other ladies for the title and $1,000.00 in prize money. As we move on into the summer, I hope you get a chance to enjoy all the scenic roads Arkansas has to offer. Ride Safe, Ride Free Hoot |
